With stunning views of the majestic Wilder Kaiser Ellmau is part of the Ski Welt, the largest linked ski-area in Austria. The pretty village has a family atmosphere and is full of traditional Austrian charm, whilst the skiing is varied and interesting, offering a great range of intermediate runs and more challenging pistes. Beginners are also well catered for - the wide blue slopes make this a superb place to learn.

Obertauern is Austria's only purpose-built resort where you can ski to and from the door of most of its modern, chalet-style hotels before sampling the lively après ski in the resort centre. Originally just a mountain pass, Obertauern is high and sits on the edge of the tree-line. The scenic peaks of the Tauern range surround the pass, allowing the lifts to fan out from a central point and create a superb natural circuit which can be skied in either direction. With its excellent snow record, variety of terrain (including excellent off-piste - conditions permitting) and good childcare facilities, this is an ideal choice for families and mixed ability groups.

Axamer Lizum is our 'Magic Mountains' inclusive resort offering great value packages which include all your ski packs and an entertainment programme. Twice venue for the Winter Olympics, Axamer Lizum has a reputation for excellent snow conditions and magnificent scenery. Hotels are located in the villages of Götzens and Birgitz, just 20 minutes' drive from Innsbruck airport. The Axamer Lizum ski area is 20-25 minutes' drive by 'Magic Mountains' transfer or public ski bus. Alternatively the new 8-seater gondola, will directly link Götzens with the Mutteralm ski area (included on your lift pass).
