Holidays in Santa Susana, Costa Brava
Santa Susana is a lively seaside resort on the Costa Brava just 60km from Barcelona and lies beneath the Montnegre Mountains. Santa Susana has a 2km sandy beach which falls steeply into the sea so the water becomes deep quite quickly. Like most seaside towns there is a promenade which streches from Santa Susana to Malgrat de Mar. There are many shops, bars and restaurants along its length offering day long refreshments. Water sports activities include pedal boats, water skiing, and scuba diving.
The Montnegre Mountains behind Santa Susana belong to the National Park and are a great place for hikers and mountain bikers who want an activity holiday on the Costa Brava.
For day trips Europe’s largest water park is only 14km away from Lloret de Mar. The kamikaze water slide is not for the faint of heart. Attractions such as a children’s zoo and a marine land park are also found in the area. The Activa Natura is in the woods just outside the town and offers outward bound type courses for children, teens and adults.
Santa Susana has many bars and restaurants which offer great nightly entertainment. There are a couple of nightclubs but genuenly the resort is for those looking for a quiet holiday in the sun.
